We’re looking for a Motion Designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and technology. Joining xMEMS Labs’ in-house Brand team, you’ll create motion-driven storytelling that showcases our breakthrough innovations across campaigns, product marketing, social media, web, and events.

Partnering with product marketing, content, and design teams, you’ll translate complex concepts into intuitive, visually engaging experiences that strengthen the xMEMS brand and make advanced technology more accessible. This is an opportunity to establish and scale a distinctive motion design language for one of the most innovative companies in audio and semiconductor technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create high-impact visual and motion content across brand and marketing initiatives, including product launches, digital campaigns, social media, presentations, website content, trade shows, and executive communications.
  • Translate complex audio, semiconductor, AI, and wearable technology concepts into compelling visual stories that resonate with customers, partners, investors, media, and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, sales, and executive teams to develop creative concepts, storyboards, presentations, product explainers, animations, and campaign assets.
  • Produce polished, on-brand creative work with strong attention to visual clarity, storytelling, motion, and user engagement.
  • Help define, evolve, and maintain the xMEMS brand system across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency in messaging, design, and visual identity.
  • Support content development from concept through final delivery, including graphics, animation, video, audio integration, social content, presentation design, and event materials.
  • Leverage modern AI-powered creative tools to accelerate ideation, content creation, and production workflows while maintaining a high standard of quality and brand consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity, speed, and execution while meeting deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback effectively and iterate quickly to deliver the strongest creative solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, motion design, visual communications, creative services, or related fields.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in branding, digital marketing, motion graphics, presentations, social media content, product storytelling, and campaign development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and modern creative tools such as Figma, Canva, or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating brand-consistent assets for technology, B2B, consumer electronics, semiconductor, or software companies.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling visual communications.
  • Experience with AI-powered creative tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Job Summary:

xMEMS Labs is redefining sound and cooling with its breakthrough piezoMEMS platform. We created the world’s first solid-state MEMS speakers—powering AI glasses, earbuds, headphones, and smartwatches—and the first ÎĽCooling fan-on-a-chip, enabling improved thermal performance in smartphones, AI glasses, SSDs, and beyond.

We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to support customer integration, platform development, and performance optimization of advanced xMEMS MEMS Speaker audio solutions. This role bridges hardware platform design, R&D collaboration, and customer-facing technical support, helping enable successful design-in and commercialization across next-generation audio wearable products. The position involves both hands-on lab work and direct engagement with customers and field application teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct engineering support to key customers and ODM/CM partners during design-in, validation, and commercialization
  • Characterize, validate, and debug electrical and acoustic system performance
  • Perform electrical assembly, soldering, and bring-up of demo and evaluation systems
  • Lead acoustic system tuning and performance optimization for micro speaker modules and related audio platforms
  • Conduct lab measurements and validation, including SPL, THD, frequency response, and electrical signal integrity
  • Collaborate closely with IC design engineers to define design requirements based on customer use cases and system needs
  • Work cross-functionally with mechanical, DSP, acoustic, product, and test engineers to support product development and customer deployment
  • Develop customer-facing technical collateral including datasheets, application notes, integration guides, and technical articles to support successful design-in and commercialization
  • Support technical communication with customers through clear verbal, written, and specification-level documentation
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in the electronics industry, preferably with mixed-signal audio amplifier, power, or related hardware background
  • Strong customer-facing experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience reviewing schematics, providing PCB layout feedback, and supporting firmware bring-up based on existing reference designs; Cadence or Altium familiarity preferred
  • Strong lab experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, and related bench equipment
  • Audio system test experience using platforms such as Audio Precision, SoundCheck, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of acoustic fundamentals, transducers, and audio system performance validation
  • Experience debugging electrical and acoustic hardware issues in a hands-on development environment
  • Ability to read, write, and work from detailed technical specifications
  • Strong ability to collaborate with mechanical, DSP, acoustic, and third-party engineering teams

Job Summary:

xMEMS has Reinvented Sound reproduction with the world’s first monolithic Piezo-MEMS µSpeakers. xMEMS µSpeakers are small formfactor, ultra-hi-fidelity speakers used in consumer earbuds (Wired & Wireless) OWS, gaming headsets, VR/AR goggles OTC hearing enhancement devices, professional in-ear-monitors for musicians, and other audio wearables. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative team supporting the Southern China market.

In this role, you will be a technical resource to existing customers while working with Sales Director and local distributors. The ideal candidate will be building friendly relationships with customer and technical partners. This position requires excellent communication skills, patience and prompt completion of time-sensitive actions items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support as a lead FAE for key customers, remotely and at customer sites worldwide, to win and support accounts. Examples of technical support include assisting the design-in process by solving acoustic and electrical problems, answering product questions, reviewing hardware, and hands-on hardware debugging.
  • Support customer with design and integration of xMEMS silicon speakers in TWS, headphone, hearing health, smart glasses and audio playback systems. Perform tasks including creating and presenting customer demonstrations; tuning of xMEMS devices; performing audio performance measurements; demonstration xMEMS products.
  • Support customers with audio amplifiers designs, with tasks such as amplifier performance measurements and device bring-up and configuration.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of directly related experience in audio applications or systems engineering.
  • Strong experience analyzing and evaluating audio products with hardware tools such as B&K, GRAS, Audio Precision, Listen Inc. (Soundcheck) or similar.
  • Understanding of audio signal processing algorithms and techniques.
  • Experienced setting up and operating audio equipment including mixers, amplifiers, equalizers, compressors.
  • Strong ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Shown working experience with ODMs in the Southern China area
  • Has experience working with multiple Distributors in territory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (English & Mandarin), presentation and interpersonal skills
